Akshat Rekhi is currently studying International Wine Business at Geisenheim University, Germany. He has recently joined our team from the 1st of November, 2018. He comes from India. He has previously studied B.Sc in Hotel and Hospitality Administration which gave him the opportunity to work in the Ho.Re.Ca sector. He developed an interest in wine and alcohol beverage industry during his gastronomy study and from the time working at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace & Towers, Mumbai, India. He has previously worked in Food Production as well as a Steward in various restaurants and hotels.

I have always been very keen to do an Internship abroad and working in a company which helps me gaining practical knowledge. I would be doing an internship for a period of 4 months. Sweden is a country which was always on my priority list as it is a beautiful country as well as an excellent work culture. The team is really friendly, fun loving and dedicated to work.
Learning about new culture interests me. During my stay in Sweden, I want to travel around, make some new friends, know about the culture, maybe learn a bit of Swedish. I like cooking, trying new restaurants as well as learning about all cuisines, being in Sweden I can expect to learn about the Swedish culture as well as the local food. I love travelling new countries and know the culture.
