A CONSUMER PANEL TO UNDERSTAND THE CONSUMER PERSPECTIVE
To understand what the consumers in our markets like is of course one of the major input factors. This we have to consider when we develop new wine. By organizing tastings with restaurant partners and analyze we get some results. By thses results we can better understand which flavors that our customers ask for.
TRY OUT EXISTING PRODUCTS IN THE ASSORTMENT
On a frequent basis we work taste best selling wine that currently sell in our market. By tasting already existing products we maintain our understanding about which price/quality we have to reach to compete in different price intervals.
FREQUENT DIALOGUE WITH THE BUYERS
By having a frequent ongoing dialogue with the buyers at each monopoly we gain information about what they currently look out for and what they want for the future. Also by having this ongoing dialogue we also have a good understanding about everything in terms of taste that we can read in between the lines.
A STANDARDIZED PROCESS IN TASTING ACTIVITIES
In order to always be able to compare what we try from one day to another we run a standardized process when we taste wine samples. We always use the same glasses as our buyer use in their tastings as well as we conduct the tastings in a similar venue with the appropriate temperature.
INTERNATIONAL INPUT IN ORDER TO SPOT NEW TRENDS
In order to always also understand what is happening in other modern wine markets our company discusses trends with other insightful people both on the buyer and seller side in other wine markets. For us this is very important, especially for future projects in early stages.
