Luxembourg is known to most people as a small country in Europe (the least populated country in the EU actually), however the country is well worth a visit for its elegant Riesling wines. I recently visited the small village of Wormeldange in the district of Grevenmacher, situated in the Mosel valley. The region is famous for its beautiful steep hills and vineyards, and it is the birth place of Luxembourgish wines, mostly white grape varieties including Riesling, Auxerrois and Pinot Gris. I had the pleasure of enjoying a glass of Riesling as well as a glass of Auxerrois surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Mosel valley.

Wishing you all a very happy weekend!
